Job Summary: We are seeking a Fishmonger with passion for retail, fresh products, and people to join our team, ensuring quality and delivering an excellent shopping experience. Key Highlights: 1. As part of the store team and reporting to the Seafood Market Manager, your responsibilities will include: * Daily receipt of goods (fish), ensuring quality and freshness upon entry. * Handling, cleaning, and cutting fish while maintaining freshness and quality standards. * Setting up the seafood counter to ensure all varieties are accessible. * Recommending, advising, and informing customers about product characteristics to deliver an excellent shopping experience. * Cleaning, organizing, and supervising fish-handling tools and equipment, as well as maintaining facilities (chillers and drains). * Collaborating with the Seafood Market Manager in supervising tasks and managing the fishmongery team. * Monitoring existing stock, supporting the Seafood Market Manager in conducting inventories and placing orders. We would love to meet you if you are passionate about retail, fresh products, and people, and possess the following: * At least 1 year of prior experience as a fishmonger or fishmonger assistant. * Training in food handling/food safety. * Knowledge of seafood species and types of cuts. * Basic proficiency in office software. * Being part of an international company operating in a key and growing sector for society. * Continuous training via an e\-learning platform offering over 100 courses. * Flexible compensation options, discounts on purchases at stores and gas stations. * Eligibility for the Alcampo Employee Share Ownership Plan (distribution policies and benefits). * Paid volunteering days, among other social initiatives, integrated into your working hours with local and national associations.
