Job Description Vacant Position **Welder / Torch Operator** Location Arbucies Region Selva Number of Positions 4 Category Group D Department Production / Maintenance Working Hours 08:00 to 17:00 Salary 20\.000 negotiable Contract Type Permanent Contract Duration Indefinite Description a) Perform welding on metal structures and machine components, applying appropriate procedures and techniques (MIG, TIG, electric arc). b) Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on structural and metal parts of the plant. c) Fabricate and repair metal parts or supports to ensure continuity of production processes. d) Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications for assembly and welding of parts. e) Prepare materials (cutting, beveling, cleaning) prior to welding. f) Verify the quality of welded joints through visual inspection and simple tests. g) Safely operate welding equipment, oxy-fuel cutting tools, and power tools. h) Maintain records of completed work and report critical repairs to the maintenance department. i) Strictly comply with industrial safety regulations (eye protection, gloves, face shield, ventilation). Publication Date 09/10/2025 Requirements Education Technical Training in Welding Desirable - Knowledge of metallic materials and welding types. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints. - Proficiency in using cutting and welding equipment. - Strong commitment to safety and risk prevention.
