As a **Oracle Senior** **Software** **Developer** at Verisure, you will play a key role in developing and delivering **high\-quality software solutions**, ensuring they align with our business objectives and meet the highest industry standards for **Oracle ERP Cloud**. You will collaborate with cross\-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver. **Responsibilities** * Analyse and document business processes to comprehensively understand and include relevant information in Confluence. * Collaborate effectively with non\-technical stakeholders to understand business opportunities or challenges, translating them into optimal solutions. * Identify and assess problems and opportunities and * identify any omissions or ambiguities in user requirements. * Design and implement scalable, maintainable functionality within Oracle ERP Cloud (SaaS \& PaaS). * Develop and implement monitoring mechanisms to ensure visibility of the developments. * Define and develop the necessary unit testing for the services. * Deploy and maintain the developed software. * Review all the pull requests made by the colleagues. * Ensure long\-term maintainability and operational excellence of development projects. * Apply creativity in design, critical thinking in code review, and a methodical approach to delivery. * Contribute to development initiatives with a strong focus on long term operational excellence. **What you will bring:** * Bachelor’s or Mater’s degree in Computer Engineer or Telecommunications, or related field. * \+ 5 years’ experience in a similar position * Fluent in English, both written and spoken * Required technical expertise and knowledge of: + Core Oracle Cloud ERP Skills - Oracle Cloud ERP Modules Knowledge (e.g., Financials, Procurement, Projects) - BI Publisher: Report development and customization - OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence): Ad\-hoc reporting - FBDI (File\-Based Data Import): Bulk data uploads - ADFdi (Application Desktop Integrator): Spreadsheet\-based data entry - Groovy Scripting: Business rules and validations in Fusion Applications - REST \& SOAP APIs: Integration with external systems - Security \& Roles: Role\-based access control, custom roles, and data access policies + Development \& Integration Skills - SQL \& PL/SQL: Backend logic and data extraction - JavaScript / HTML / CSS: UI customizations and extensions - Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio): Low\-code development and CI/CD pipelines - Oracle APEX (Application Express): Rapid web application development on Oracle DB - Version Control Tools: Git, Bitbucket, etc. - Designing and managing integrations using OIC - Experience with ERP Cloud Adapter, REST Adapter, FTP Adapter - Monitoring, error handling, and performance tuning of integrations + Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - Understanding of OCI services (Compute, Storage, Networking) - Experience with OCI monitoring, logging, and automation tools - Familiarity with OCI IAM (Identity and Access Management) + Basic AI Agent Understanding - Awareness of how AI agents can be used in enterprise automation (e.g., chatbots, digital assistants) - Familiarity with Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) or similar platforms - Understanding of natural language interfaces, intent recognition, and workflow automation - Ability to collaborate with AI/ML teams or integrate AI services via APIs **Competences** * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills, combined with a flexible and collaborative mindset. * Exceptional attention to detail and a results\-driven approach to completing project tasks. * Proven ability to analyse, synthesise, and respond effectively in high\-pressure environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines. * Excellent communication skills, with ability to engage both technical and non\-technical stakeholders. * Proactive team player with a strong sense of initiative, accountability and ownership. * Demonstrated experience with Agile /Lean (Scrum) methodologies. * High learning agility and adaptability in fast\-paced, dynamics environments. * Highly organised and professional, with a structured and methodological approach to work. * Goal\-oriented, creative and proactive in identifying and implementing effective solutions. * Customer\-centric mindset with strong commitment to delivering business value. * Ability to deliver high\-quality solutions rapidly, balancing speed with precision and quality. **Location** The role will be located in **Madrid**. **Verisure will offer you** * **Hybrid model** Work from home and at our great Madrid offices in Pozuelo de Alarcón (El Barrial\- Centro Comercial) * **Lunch included at our canteen** **️** You won’t need to pay for your daily meal when you are at the office!
