Job Description We are looking for **a Laboratory Analyst** to join our Salamanca laboratory, where you will contribute to the development of key activities in a dynamic, technical, and continuous-improvement-oriented environment. **Responsibilities** * Perform area-specific tests for which you are previously qualified, in accordance with established official procedures and in compliance with GMP. * Record and document test results in the corresponding systems and forms within established timeframes. * Maintain and update qualification for tests according to defined schedules. * Report incidents, deviations, or events related to test execution or any other job-related activity, following established procedures, and collaborate in laboratory investigations, as applicable. * Review and approve tests performed on authorized forms and in the SAP system (status 3 and 5\) timely and accurately. * Manufacture and validate MYXSAL/BIS reagents and biomaterials according to the schedule defined by the responsible person. * Manage samples associated with tests. * Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipment. * Monitor equipment status manually and via SCADA. * Supervise cleaning of area laboratories. * Properly prepare materials, reagents, and disinfectants required for daily activities. * Monitor inventory levels of materials and reagents. * Verify correct labeling and expiration dates of all laboratory materials. * Identify opportunities for improvement and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. * Train and support new analysts in laboratory tests and tasks. * Maintain order and collaborate in 5S audits. **Requirements** * Higher Education Degree in Laboratory Sciences or equivalent. * Knowledge of molecular and cellular biology. * Prior laboratory experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. * English language proficiency at B2 level (desirable). * Ability to work autonomously with high accuracy. * Proactive attitude and orientation toward continuous improvement. * Strong organizational and teamwork skills. * Ability to manage incidents and adapt to a regulated environment. * Experience in regulatory compliance, quality, and technical documentation (GMP) is desirable. * SAP knowledge (desirable). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. **Required Skills:** Compound Management, Compound Management, Defect Identification, GMP Compliance, GMP Laboratory, Hazard Analysis, Health Risk Assessments, Keen Observation, Laboratory Analytical Techniques, Laboratory Informatics, Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), Laboratory Investigations, Laboratory Operations, Material Preparation, Materials Handling, OOS Investigations, QC Microbiology, Quality Standards, Recordkeeping, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Writing, Sterility Testing, Technical Procedures, Technical Writing, Test Data Management, Test Equipment Management {\+ 1 more}**Preferred Skills:** Current Employees apply HERE Current Contingent Workers apply HERE **Search Firm Representatives Please Read Carefully** Merck \& Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ, USA, also known as Merck Sharp \& Dohme LLC, Rahway, NJ, USA, does not accept unsolicited assistance from search firms for employment opportunities.
