Continuous training and professional development opportunities **Job description****We are looking to hire an Industrial Automation Engineer to join our engineering team in Benifaió – Valencia (Spain).** The selected candidate will participate in the development of industrial automation projects, working mainly from the office on the design, programming, and support of control systems for both national and international clients. This is a permanent position within a growing company, offering a highly technical role and involvement in projects across a variety of industrial sectors. We are looking for a **proactive individual with strong teamwork skills and a commitment to technical excellence, who is eager to develop their professional career in industrial automation using the latest Siemens technologies.** **Main Responsibilities:** * Development and programming of industrial automation applications. * Programming of PLCs, HMIs, and supervisory systems (SCADA). * Configuration of industrial networks and communications. * Development and maintenance of programming standards. * Preparation of project technical documentation. * Technical support to customers and remote assistance. * Participation in internal functional testing of developed applications. * Occasional on\-site support for process validation once all system signals and communications have been verified. **Desirable Qualifications:** * Knowledge and experience with SQL databases. * Knowledge of Rockwell technologies. * Development of web applications for industrial environments. * Integration of MES, ERP, and database systems. * Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity. * Experience in the food, chemical, or pharmaceutical industries. **Your profile*** University degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation. * High level of English, both spoken and written. * Availability for occasional international travel, mainly within Europe and the United States. * Extensive experience with Siemens technologies: TIA Portal, SIMATIC S7\-1200 and S7\-1500 PLCs, WinCC Comfort, WinCC Unified, PROFINET networks, Industrial communications, Siemens drives and motion systems. **Required experience**5 years **We offer*** Permanent contract. * Monday to Friday working schedule. * Working hours from 07:00 to 15:00\. * Flexible working hours. * Hybrid working model, combining remote and on\-site work. * Approximately 80% office\-based work and 20% travel for support and process validation activities. * Participation in national and international projects. * Continuous training and professional development opportunities. **Contact person**Fina Regal **Contact phone**673 836 772 **Contact email**fina.regal@j\-tec.com **Application**Email your CV and cover letter (For more information regarding our privacy policy, please visit the Katoen Natie website)
