At **Heritage Madrid Hotel**, we are seeking a Waiter/Waitress for our gourmet restaurant. We seek a proactive, dynamic, professional individual with outstanding presence, aligned with the service standards and elegance characteristic of our hotel. As a **Waiter/Waitress**, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable gastronomic experiences for our guests by delivering impeccable service and contributing to maintaining the highest quality standards. **Responsibilities:** * Greet and attend guests courteously, elegantly, and professionally, ensuring an excellent first impression. * Work efficiently, methodically, and with clear attention to detail. * Take and manage guest orders promptly, accurately, and with personalized attention. * Operate the POS system and perform associated administrative tasks. * Collaborate closely with front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure seamless, high-quality service. * Acquire in-depth knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation techniques, and wine pairings. * Advise and recommend dishes and beverages according to each guest’s preferences and needs. * Handle special requests and appropriately accommodate allergies, intolerances, and other dietary restrictions. * Maintain cleanliness, order, and proper presentation of the dining area and workspaces at all times. **Requirements:** * Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent. * Proven experience in front-of-house service, preferably in gourmet restaurants and/or luxury hotels. * Excellent communication skills, customer service orientation, and service vocation. * Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments while effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously. * Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and hygiene practices. * Positive attitude, attention to detail, commitment to excellence, and strong teamwork capability. * Advanced English proficiency is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. * Flexibility and availability to work weekends and public holidays.
