The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical activities on-site, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is critical to the success of our project, guaranteeing the correct execution of electrical installations according to technical specifications and applicable regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervise and direct technical staff and subcontractors in all tasks related to the installation, assembly, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical systems. * Ensure strict compliance with occupational health and safety procedures (OH&S), with special attention to the specific requirements of the Oil \& Gas sector. * Interpret and review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, technical specifications, and other project documents to ensure accurate work execution. * Plan and organize daily, weekly, and monthly electrical activities, optimizing resources and timelines. * Conduct quality inspections and verifications of completed electrical work, identifying and correcting deviations. * Manage and control electrical materials, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and utilization. * Coordinate with other departments (mechanical, civil, instrumentation, etc.) to ensure integration and optimal performance across all project disciplines. * Prepare progress reports, work logs, incident reports, and other technical documentation required by project management. * Identify and propose process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. * Ensure compliance with applicable technical and legal regulations for electrical installations in the Oil \& Gas sector. * Actively participate in project progress meetings, providing the electrical engineering perspective. * Effectively resolve technical issues arising during work execution. **Job Requirements:** * **Minimum Experience:** Over 8 years of demonstrable experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in equivalent roles on Oil \& Gas projects. Specific experience in refineries, petrochemical plants, or offshore facilities will be highly valued. * **Education:** Technical qualification required (e.g., Higher Vocational Training in Electrotechnical Installations, Technical Industrial Engineering with Electrical specialization, or equivalent). * **Additional Training:** Completion of the mandatory 60-hour Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) training course for construction site work. * **Technical Knowledge:** Solid expertise in high-, medium-, and low-voltage systems; electrical protection; instrumentation; motor control; grounding systems; industrial lighting; and sector-specific regulations (API, IEC, etc.) for Oil \& Gas. * **Languages:** Technical English proficiency is considered an asset. * **Competencies:** Leadership; organizational and planning ability; proactivity; problem-solving skills; communication skills; teamwork; and strong orientation toward safety and quality. * **Availability:** Willingness to work in Bilbao and adapt to project schedules and demands. **What We Offer:** * Joining a leading energy-sector company with large-scale, high-impact projects. * Opportunity for professional development and growth within a dynamic organization. * Temporary contract with potential continuity depending on project evolution. * Competitive salary commensurate with candidate’s experience and qualifications. * Being part of a professional and highly qualified team.
