At Babel, we are seeking an Android Developer with 2.5–7 years of experience building native applications in Kotlin. You will join a dynamic and innovative team working on high-impact projects, where you can contribute your technical knowledge and initiative to build quality applications reaching thousands of users. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: * Developing and maintaining native Android applications using Kotlin. * Applying modern design patterns and architectures (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture) to ensure scalability and maintainability. * Managing code versions with Git, following best practices for workflow (Git\-flow). * Using the full Android ecosystem and its tools: Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, AndroidX, Gradle. * Performing testing, debugging, and performance optimization of applications. * Publishing applications on the Google Play Store, independently managing the entire process (signing, Play Console, distribution tracks). * Working autonomously, proactively, and independently while delivering innovative solutions. ️ What you need to excel in this role: * Proven experience (2.5–7 years) in Android development with Kotlin. * Solid knowledge of design patterns and architectures (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture). * Experience with Git and Git\-flow. * Proficiency with Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, AndroidX, and Gradle. * Experience publishing apps on the Google Play Store. * Advanced level of English (spoken and written). * Autonomy, proactivity, and ability to work independently. Bonus qualifications include: * Experience with automated testing and performance optimization. * Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. * Interest in emerging mobile development trends and clean code best practices.
