As a Receptionist at the Hotel, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a fundamental role in creating memorable experiences. Your professionalism and warmth will serve as the establishment's calling card, ensuring that each guest feels welcome and well-cared-for from arrival through departure.
Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
* **Check\-in and Check\-out:** Efficiently manage guest arrival and departure procedures, ensuring accuracy in documentation and data registration.
* **Customer Service:** Provide detailed information about hotel services, local attractions, and proactively and courteously resolve inquiries or incidents.
* **Reservation Management:** Handle telephone, online, and in-person reservations, as well as modifications and cancellations with due diligence.
* **Billing and Payment Processing:** Process payments, issue invoices, and manage the cash register rigorously and transparently.
* **Internal Communication:** Coordinate with other hotel departments (maintenance, housekeeping, food & beverage) to ensure a seamless and satisfying guest stay.
* **Hotel Image Maintenance:** Ensure the proper presentation of the reception area and common spaces, guaranteeing a welcoming and professional environment.
* **Multilingual Support:** Assist guests from diverse nationalities by facilitating communication and delivering personalized service.

REQUIREMENTS
**Position Requirements:**
* Demonstrable prior experience of at least 2 years in similar roles within the hotel industry.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner under pressure.
* Proactive, solution-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail.
* Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Fluent command of English, both spoken and written.
* Knowledge of German.
* Experience with hotel management software (PMS).
* Familiarity with the Maresme region and its points of interest.
