Job Summary: We are looking for a Digital Product Engineer with experience in web development and distributed systems, capable of leading technical teams and contributing strategically to the company’s growth. Key Highlights: 1. Key role in driving the technical implementation of e-commerce solutions 2. End-to-end participation in building Digital Products 3. Focus on scalability, performance, and solving complex challenges **Product Engineer** ==================== **About Us** ------------------ WEZZAX is a technology solutions company specializing in e-commerce. We are experiencing rapid growth toward an organization built around autonomous, empowered Digital Product teams where technology and business collaborate closely to create outstanding solutions. We rely on multidisciplinary teams that not only execute and implement solutions but also participate end-to-end in building the various Digital Products they govern. Our main client is **LaTiendaHome**, a home furnishings company operating in e-commerce for over 20 years, with custom-developed solutions for product catalog management, logistics and distribution, as well as customer relationship control and maintenance. **Requirements** -------------- We are seeking a Digital Product Engineer to help drive our technical team in delivering solutions for our clients. You must have experience developing web applications and strong teamwork skills to achieve our shared goals. Additionally, you must possess strategic vision to develop solutions that support both our current business lines and future growth opportunities. Within the team, you must balance attitude and experience—translating into productivity and pragmatism—knowing how to address each need at the right time and how to prioritize work based on factors such as development cost, opportunity cost, and time-to-market. What we’re looking for in you: * Advanced proficiency in web application development technologies. At WEZZAX, we work with PHP (Vanilla / Laravel / Symfony), NodeJS, TypeScript, and React. * Experience with distributed system architectures. Part of our infrastructure runs on bare metal, while other parts run on public cloud. Solid Docker knowledge is essential. * Deep expertise in scalability and performance of critical systems. Our ecosystem operates 24/7, and during business hours it must be “The Rock” enduring Vin Diesel’s punches in Fast & Furious. * Demonstrated ability to motivate and empower colleagues. Becoming a reference point doesn’t intimidate you. * You love tackling complex challenges—you don’t shy away from solving problems in legacy code, and you know refactoring techniques to keep technical debt to a minimum. * You don’t cling to code you’ve written: you always seek the simplest, most appropriate solution—even if that means replacing your own work. * You don’t base your solutions on whatever’s trending. You know when to apply MVC or Hexagonal Architecture, and you don’t impose implementations solely based on subjective criteria. You’re accustomed to Object-Oriented Programming and apply software design patterns like a Swiss Army knife. * You enjoy communicating—not just for the sake of talking. You can hold both technical and non-technical conversations with any audience: teammates, colleagues from other departments, or end customers. * You work autonomously. At WEZZAX, we work remotely and self-organize to complete assigned tasks. We pair program when necessary and focus on iterative, high-quality delivery. * You value teamwork and prioritize achieving shared objectives, supporting teammates whenever needed—above showcasing individual achievements. Additional qualities we highly value: * Prior experience in e-commerce environments—especially high-impact ones. * Experience working in multidisciplinary teams aligned with Digital Product culture. * Experience managing technical teams. * Participation in defining technological roadmaps. **What We Offer** ---------------- * Remote work. If you’re based in Valencia, we have offices in Gandía and you’re welcome to visit anytime. * Salary range based on skills offered: €35,000–€55,000 gross annually. * Career development plan. We use progressive levels and conduct reviews based on continuous follow-up. * Flexible schedule. Start and end times are flexible to support work-life balance and rest. **Key Responsibilities** -------------------------- * You’ll write simple, maintainable, and efficient code. You’ll continuously improve it, ensuring quality—and you’ll do so with care. * End-user experience matters deeply to you, so you’ll ensure everything you build delivers strong performance and scales across all potential customers. * Our application ecosystem is extensive, meaning your work will impact many users—both internal and external. There will be usage spikes, and our applications must handle them “without breaking a sweat.” * You’ll make data-driven strategic decisions, back your hypotheses with validated information, and conduct proof-of-concept tests to better understand possible alternatives. * You’ll take full ownership of Digital Product features throughout their entire lifecycle—not just during coding. You’ll ensure your implementations meet requirements and function correctly upon reaching production. * You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team where everyone collaborates and supports one another to achieve common goals. You’ll be comfortable communicating in both technical and non-technical contexts. **Details** ------------ ### **Location** Gandia ### **Employment Type** Full-time ### **Schedule** Flexible schedule.
