PICKING OPERATOR (ORDER PICKING)

Description

At Florette Canarias, we are seeking to incorporate a **Picking Operator** into our team, whose mission will be to ensure the correct assembly and dispatch of finished-product pallets, complying with quality, food safety, and logistical efficiency standards, thereby guaranteeing that each customer receives their order on time and in full. **Main responsibilities** * Assembling and preparing boxes of finished products, scanning them using barcode readers. * Organizing, strapping, and correctly positioning pallets. * Assisting in truck loading using an electric stacker, following instructions from the team leader. * Reviewing and replacing labels in case of IT-related incidents. * Performing basic controls: inventories, delivery notes, truck temperature measurements, and quality records. * Maintaining order and cleanliness in the work area. * Complying with safety, quality, hygiene, and occupational risk prevention regulations. * Supporting additional tasks assigned by the responsible person. **Experience and knowledge** * Prior experience in **logistics, dispatch operations, or production environments**. * Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, and management software). * Proficiency in operating **electric stackers and pallet trucks**. * Use of data capture devices or **PDAs**. **Key competencies** * Teamwork. * Responsibility and commitment. * Flexibility and versatility. * Quality orientation and adherence to safety standards. **Required qualifications** * Basic education or equivalent. * Valid food handler’s certificate. **Offered** * **Fixed-term discontinuous permanent contract**. * Shift-based working hours with **rotating shifts**, according to operational needs. * Opportunity to join an established company in the food industry.
