The **Support and Cleaning** department is essential to ensuring every van is spotless, safe, and ready for the next customer—directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. **THE ROLE** The **Support and Cleaning Operative** focuses exclusively on maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of the rental fleet. This is a hands-on, physical, operational role requiring attention to detail, responsible for: * Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors * Preparing vans with kits and essential items * Inspecting vehicles upon return * Managing cleaning supplies and consumables * Supporting depot organization and logistics **WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?** * **Fleet Cleaning:** Clean and maintain vehicle interiors and exteriors to meet hygiene and presentation standards, consistently delivering high-quality results. * **Vehicle Preparation:** Prepare campervans with required kits, bedding, and optional extras, ensuring they are ready for bookings and check\-in/check\-out processes. * **Post-Return Inspection & Reporting:** Inspect returned vehicles for cleanliness, missing items, or damage, and report any incidents for follow-up. * **Stock and Consumables Management:** Manage stock and consumables—including receiving, storing, and organizing supplies—as well as reporting shortages or damages. * **Depot Logistics and Organization:** Support depot logistics, keep cleaning areas organized, move vehicles, and assist with operational needs during peak periods. **WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?** * **Mandatory:** Experience in cleaning. **Preferred:** Experience in hospitality, warehousing, housekeeping, or operations. * **Mandatory:** Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards. * **Mandatory:** Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks (cleaning, lifting, moving equipment). * **Mandatory:** Reliable, punctual individual capable of working in fast-paced environments. * **Mandatory:** Valid driver’s license (Category B). * **Mandatory:** English proficiency. **Preferred:** Local language proficiency (where applicable). * PHYSICAL AND OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS * **Mandatory:** Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks for most of the shift, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stretching, and repetitive motions. * **Mandatory:** Comfort working inside vehicles (confined spaces, elevated surfaces) and outdoors around the fleet. * **Mandatory:** Ability to lift, move, or carry cleaning equipment, vacuum cleaners, water hoses, chemicals, or kits (up to 15 kg). * **Mandatory:** Comfort using cleaning products and chemicals safely, including disinfectants, detergents, stain removers, glass cleaners, and surface treatments (training provided). * **Mandatory:** Adherence to company safety guidelines when handling chemicals. * **Mandatory:** Comfort working under varying temperatures and weather conditions while washing or preparing vehicles outdoors. * **Mandatory:** Ability to maintain both quality and speed of cleaning during high-volume operations and peak season. * **Mandatory:** Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and during peak-season hours. * **Mandatory:** Ability to adapt to last-minute operational needs (e.g., urgent reassignments or additional cleaning tasks). **THE INDIE COMMITMENT!** * Competitive compensation and travel benefits. * Clear progression path to the **RoadTrip Agent** role or other operational positions. * Training in cleaning standards, detail verification, minor repairs, and operational excellence. * A multicultural, dynamic work environment with a strong team spirit. **Are You Ready to Go Indie?**
