Job Summary: An occupational therapist position is available at a geriatric center to maintain and improve the autonomy, functionality, and quality of life of elderly individuals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop occupational therapy functions for elderly individuals 2. Cognitive and psychomotor stimulation, promotion of leisure activities and social participation 3. Coordinated work with families, ongoing follow-up and evaluation This position is offered at a geriatric center to carry out core occupational therapy duties. The work focuses on caring for elderly individuals, aiming to maintain and enhance their autonomy, functionality, and quality of life through purposeful therapeutic activities. Daily responsibilities include cognitive and psychomotor stimulation, promotion of leisure activities and social participation, coordinated work with families, as well as continuous follow-up and evaluation of each individual's condition. A Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification is required. Prior and demonstrable experience in this sector is highly valued. The position offers an indefinite-term employment contract, with full-time hours from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. Salary and working conditions are governed by the Eighth State Collective Agreement for the Care of Dependent Persons.
