At **ABD**, we are an NGO dedicated to supporting individuals facing social and health-related vulnerability, providing comprehensive interventions in areas such as exclusion, disability, gender-based violence, childhood, and family.
We are seeking a **Nightlife Intervention Technician**. The "Don't Sit Down Drunk" campaign is an initiative for prevention and risk reduction regarding abusive alcohol consumption, launched by the Balearic Islands Addiction and Drug Dependency Plan. It primarily targets older youth and adults during popular festivals to promote safe leisure.
**What would be your main mission?**
* Interventions in nightlife at festivals across the Balearic Islands (mainly Mallorca, and occasionally Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera).
* Pre-intervention inventory of materials.
* Preparation and printing of records.
* Contact with municipal technical teams.
* Travel to the town.
* Distribution of campaign materials at festivals.
* Raising awareness and providing information on alcohol consumption, primarily targeting young people but also minors and adults.
* Breathalyzer testing.
* Recording of alcoholic beverages consumed.
* Recording of campaign awareness and motivation for change.
* Recording of alcohol intake and menstrual cycle.
* Documented travel from and to Energy Control Balears’ headquarters in Palma.
* Inventory of surplus materials.
* Data entry of records into Google Drive.
* Completion of municipal forms and reports.
* Sending evaluation questionnaires to municipalities.
* Communication via email and WhatsApp.
**What are we looking for?**
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Pedagogy, and/or Social Education; or Higher Vocational Training in Social Integration or equivalent.
* One year of experience in addiction prevention; additional training in drugs, harm reduction, and prevention.
* Additional training in intersectional gender perspective.
* Additional training in sexualities.
* Proficient oral and written communication in Catalan.
* Valid Class B driver’s license and personal vehicle.
**What do we offer?**
Contract type: Temporary (August 2026–August 2027)
Working hours: Minimum of 7 hours per week, at least once per month
Schedule: Fridays or Saturdays, 22:00–03:00 hrs approx. + 2 daytime hours: Mondays or Tuesdays, 16:00–18:00 hrs (to be agreed individually).
Salary group 1: Based on monthly working hours; as a reference, 20 weekly hours correspond to €982 gross per month in 14 payments, according to the State Collective Agreement for Social Action and Intervention
Location: Mallorca, and occasionally Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera
