Description
This position is responsible for performing nighttime logistics operations at a distribution center or warehouse, using specialized equipment for handling goods. Key responsibilities include loading and unloading containers, carried out in accordance with established safety protocols to prevent accidents and damage to materials. Upon completion of this phase, goods are sorted according to assigned destinations, requiring attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure each order is correctly directed. This sorting process is fundamental to ensuring efficient supply chain flow and meeting delivery deadlines.
Another key activity involves performing picking tasks using a PDA or handheld terminal, which entails following digitally received order instructions and accurately retrieving products from shelves. Electric pallet jacks and electric stackers are used for moving and storing materials, enabling transportation of heavy loads and precise placement at designated locations within the warehouse. Operating such equipment requires skill and knowledge of safety regulations, as improper handling could pose risks to the operator and the workplace environment.
These tasks are performed during a fixed nighttime schedule, contributing to the continuity of the center’s logistics operations. Working this shift requires adaptation to a different pace and ensures processes are completed in preparation for daytime shipments. Accuracy at every stage—from receipt through final storage—is essential to maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Availability to work a fixed night shift from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM is required, along with a valid and up-to-date forklift operator license, and prior experience in picking tasks within a logistics environment. Candidates must be responsible individuals, quality-oriented, and capable of following established procedures. Having a personal vehicle for commuting is considered a plus.
