Job Description **What challenge do we propose?** Within our Retail Unit, we have an opportunity to expand our team with a Functional Analyst Java/Oracle. You will collaborate in defining business requirements and be responsible for functional analysis of solutions, ensuring effective translation of business requirements into technical specifications for development. **Responsibilities** * Identify business requirements and translate them into clear, comprehensive functional and technical specifications. * Collaborate with the development team in defining and performing functional analysis of core service solutions. * Collaborate with developers and the architecture team to design and document technical solutions. * Participate in software architecture design and review, ensuring adoption of standards and best practices. * Participate in the software development process—including planning, estimation, tracking, and project control. * Conduct acceptance testing to validate functionality of developed solutions. * Collaborate with QA and technical support teams to ensure system quality and stability. * Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring proper understanding of requirements and expectations. Requirements **What are we looking for?** * Minimum 5 years’ experience in software development and 2–3 years in complex systems architecture. * Proficiency in Java-based design patterns and microservices architecture. * Knowledge of diverse data sources such as relational databases (DB2, Oracle) and NoSQL (Mongo), messaging queues (Kafka, MQ), APIs, third-party services, etc. * Identity and access management tools such as Keycloak or WSO2. * Environment management and deployment of Java/Angular components to production environments, ensuring operational readiness (i.e., fully prepared and optimized for operation). * Functional Requirements * Experience translating business requirements into clear technical specifications; ability to elicit user stories. * Ability to create functional diagrams, process flows, and traceability matrices. * Must design test cases and generate test data for required software changes and enhancements. * Experience in backlog management, requirement prioritization, validation, and functional testing.
