At **MDX System**, we are looking for an experienced **Metal Carpenter** to join our team.
We are a company specialized in **industrialized construction**, developing high-precision modular solutions that transform the way buildings are constructed. We manufacture a large portion of our projects in a controlled industrial environment, optimizing timelines, costs, and ensuring consistent quality at every stage of the process.
Main responsibilities
* **Metal structure fabrication:** Fabrication and assembly of metal structures and components intended for industrialized construction modules.
* **Drawing interpretation:** Reading and interpreting technical drawings, component breakdowns, and manufacturing specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
* **Operation of machinery and tools:** Use of cutting, drilling, grinding machinery, and sector-specific metalworking tools.
* **Assembly and fitting:** Preparation, adjustment, and assembly of metal components to high standards of precision and quality.
* **Welding and finishing:** Performing basic welding tasks, touch-ups, and adjustments required for proper structural assembly.
* **Quality control:** Verification of dimensions, finishes, and compliance with technical specifications before proceeding to the next production stage.
* **Compliance with safety regulations:** Application of occupational risk prevention procedures and company-established quality standards.
* **Teamwork:** Coordination with production, carpentry, electrical, and assembly departments to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a metal carpenter or in metal structure fabrication (minimum 2 years, preferred).
* Experience working with **iron and steel**. We do not work with PVC or aluminum; therefore, experience with these materials is especially valued.
* Proficiency in using metalworking tools and machinery.
* Ability to interpret drawings and perform precise measurements.
* Basic knowledge of welding.
* Valid driver's license category B (preferred).
* Responsible, organized, committed individual with strong teamwork skills.
