Job Summary: Izertis is seeking a Backend Developer (Java/Integration) to develop and maintain applications, implement services, and resolve incidents for a banking client. Key Highlights: 1. Analysis and resolution of production application incidents. ### **Description** At **Izertis**, we are looking to expand our team by incorporating a **Backend Developer (Java/Integration)** to join one of our most important clients in the banking sector. **What will your responsibilities be?** * Backend application development and maintenance. * Implementation of services and APIs for system integration. * Analysis and resolution of production application incidents. * Development and execution of technical tests. * Preparation of technical documentation for developed solutions. * Collaboration in continuous code improvement and application of best development practices. **What are we looking for in you?** **Education:** * Intermediate / Advanced / University degree related to Computer Science. **Required Experience:** * Minimum 2 years of software development experience. * Experience in J2EE application development and runtime environments, and WebSphere Application Server (WAS). * Eclipse IDE development environment. * Knowledge of application design patterns and source code quality. * Programming languages: Java, JavaScript, and UNIX shell scripts. * Experience developing REST or SOAP web services. * Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or others). * Experience with version control systems (Git). **Desirable Experience and Knowledge:** * Spring / Spring Boot. * Search services (ElasticSearch, Azure AI Search, Solr, or similar). * PL/SQL knowledge. * .NET knowledge. **Where would we like you to be located for this position?** The role will be performed at the client’s offices located in central Madrid. **What can we offer you?** * Permanent contract. * Salary negotiated according to your experience and expectations. * Flexible compensation package, including health insurance, meal vouchers, childcare vouchers, or transportation vouchers. * Free English classes to improve or reinforce your current level. * Access to an extensive benefits portal offering discounted products and services (flights, hotels, fashion, technology, home goods) exclusively for Izertis employees. * 22 working days of vacation per year, your birthday off, and December 24th and 31st as holidays. **About Izertis** At Izertis, we drive digital transformation for companies, organizations, and individuals through tailored, innovative, and impactful technological solutions.
