Key Responsibilities * Provide maintenance support to the assigned manufacturing area by managing * priorities and assisting in resolving technical issues. * Ensure planned and optimized utilization of technicians and materials, aiming to minimize equipment downtime. * Support development of an optimized preventive maintenance plan, aligned with objectives, targets, and key strategies for work planning, with the primary goal of minimizing unplanned equipment downtime. * Ensure all maintenance plans (internal or contractor-based) comply with BD’s safety, regulatory, and operational requirements. * 100% on-time completion of scheduled preventive maintenance tasks. * Validate time, materials, resources, and tools required to complete each task (PM/other activities) for the assigned section. * Coordinate work order generation based on the maintenance plan and service notifications/requests, aligning with production planning to maximize planned work. Coordination and generation of work orders will be performed via SAP/CMMS. * Monitor and control department-defined metrics for the assigned manufacturing area. * Liaise with external workshops and suppliers to track work progress, request quotations, and obtain equipment information. * Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Continuous Improvement departments to achieve operational goals and projects within the area of responsibility. * Manage and track projects, CAPEX, documentation, assigned technical personnel, training plans, material resources, and available facilities. * Manage and track equipment spare parts; register new equipment, decommission obsolete equipment, monitor stock levels, assess criticality, track usage, standardize parts, and optimize costs. * Participate in the design of new projects or modifications to existing equipment using 2D/3D design software and PLC programming for such equipment. Education and Experience: * Bachelor’s or Technical Engineering degree and proven experience. * Good spoken and written English proficiency. Knowledge and Skills: * Office applications * ERP systems (data entry in SAP, MES, etc.) * Proficiency in Excel/BI and ability to generate charts / analyze trends. * Knowledge of PLC programming * AutoCAD, SolidWorks, 3D design applications, or other design systems.
