Laboratory Analyst **Company Description** ----------------------------- **As a leader in ecological transformation, Veolia provides solutions for the efficient management of water, waste, and energy activities, driving sustainable development in cities, industries, and agriculture.** **We primarily operate in three major areas: water, offering solutions for both urban and industrial management; waste, transforming it into new resources; and energy, improving efficiency and reducing consumption and emissions in buildings, industries, and cities.** **Job Description** -------------------------- * Responsible for sample control, planning and management, including sample collection, dispatch, or, where applicable under various discharge permits and not required to be performed by a collaborating entity, sample analysis. * Ensures proper maintenance of existing laboratory facilities and equipment at wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs). * Guarantees preservation and cleaning of laboratory equipment; verifies and calibrates instrumentation, etc., with specific considerations inherent to working in sanitation and purification facilities. * Ensures availability of necessary consumables and reagents for conducting various tests. * Collaborates in preparing reports, inventories, and controlling mandatory technical inspections according to sector-specific regulations; archives analytical data and compiles process and analytical reports; collaborates with the Operations Manager on assigned tasks. **Requirements** -------------- Applicants must hold a Higher Vocational Training (FP grado superior) qualification, Intermediate Vocational Training (FP grado medio) qualification, or an intermediate-level Technical qualification in Chemistry.
