Description

The Warehouse Operator position is carried out in a logistics environment, focusing on the efficient management and movement of goods. Key responsibilities include receiving products, verifying quantities and condition, and correctly placing them in designated warehouse areas following established protocols. This role also involves actively preparing orders, including picking and packing activities, to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and dispatched on time. A fundamental aspect of the job is maintaining rigorous stock control, performing periodic stock counts and updating inventory records to prevent discrepancies. Safe operation of material handling equipment—such as forklifts—is essential for transporting and storing heavy materials. Additionally, strict adherence to occupational safety and hygiene regulations is required to promote an orderly and clean working environment for all employees. Collaboration with the team is constant, requiring clear communication to coordinate daily tasks and resolve incidents promptly. The operator will regularly use PDA devices and specialized software to record movements, manage inventories, and process order-related information. In summary, this position is critical to ensuring smooth warehouse operations, directly contributing to the supply chain and final customer satisfaction through methodical and organized work. Working hours are full-time, totaling 40 hours per week, distributed across weekly rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, covering the morning shift from 6:00 to 14:00 and the afternoon shift from 14:00 to 22:00. The initial contract is temporary due to production circumstances, lasting three months, after which an evaluation will be conducted for possible extension or conversion to an indefinite-term contract. The offered gross annual salary for this position is 18\.000 euros. A minimum requirement is the completion of Compulsory Secondary Education, along with a valid forklift license and demonstrable experience operating forklifts and front-end loaders for safe handling of goods. Proficiency and practical skills in using PDA devices for digital inventory and order management are essential, as well as familiarity with basic computer tools such as email.
