As a **Purchasing Technician**, your mission will be to place purchase orders in accordance with departmental procedures and instructions from your supervisor, ensuring efficient product supply to all customers across Spain. **Responsibilities:** * Place orders with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels and ensure end customers receive purchased materials. * Monitor purchases and sales to optimize order-related costs and reduce obsolete inventory. * Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and inter-office purchases among regional offices, store managers, warehouse managers, and sales representatives, resolving potential incidents to enhance quality and efficiency throughout the procurement process. * Approve pre-order requests submitted by regional offices to ensure adjustments remain within each office’s predefined margins. * Approve inter-warehouse transfers to optimize stock levels and material sales. * Claim delivery notes for direct deliveries to ensure accurate customer invoicing and proper company accounting reconciliation. * Review outstanding invoices, pricing discrepancies, and tariff issues jointly with the billing department, and claim corrections from suppliers when necessary to prevent billing inconsistencies and ensure accurate financial recording. * Propose improvements to procurement procedures and advise on optimal purchasing options by analyzing and identifying errors — thereby enhancing procurement speed and ensuring greater profitability. * Cover for other team members as needed to ensure uninterrupted departmental operations during absences or vacations. **You’ll be a perfect fit if you have...** * Vocational training in Administration or a related field. * Proficiency in computer tools, especially **AS400** and **Excel**. * Between 1 and 3 years of experience in procurement/supply/procurement departments within B2B companies. **These are the skills we value most:** * Customer orientation. * Work management. * Incident resolution. **Our benefits:** * Temporary contract to cover a replacement position. * Salary commensurate with your experience. * Flexible compensation (health insurance, meal vouchers, transportation allowance, childcare support, etc.). * Working hours Monday–Thursday: 8:00–17:30, including a one-hour lunch break. * Rotating early Friday schedule. * Remote work (1 day/week). **Our commitment** At Grupo BME Spain, our purpose is to help build a more comfortable and sustainable world.
