Production Operator

Description

We are seeking a **Production Operator** for our production plant located in Oliva. Reporting to the Production Manager, the candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** * Monitor end-of-line processes. * Production oversight: Operate and monitor production equipment responsible for palletizing and strapping finished products. * Machinery operation: Perform necessary adjustments to machinery during palletizing changes; troubleshoot operational malfunctions; carry out basic preventive maintenance; support engineering or maintenance subcontractors. Perform external cleaning of the machinery assigned to the operator. * Manufacturing data recording: Conduct visual checks to verify alignment between pallet types and palletizing methods specified in the production order; inform shift relief colleagues about the overall status and situation at the end of the previous shift. * Monitor material usage and traceability, as well as position-specific control requirements. * Loading and unloading. Supply: Feed the production line with pallets and strapping film. * Regulatory compliance: Adhere to quality, food safety, environmental, housekeeping, and hygiene procedures and standards. Likewise, comply with occupational health and safety regulations applicable to the position. * Employee support and training: Responsible for instructing, training, and onboarding new staff members or temporary workers. Collaborate in drafting technical instructions or procedures. * Continuous improvement: Ensure implementation and adherence to the 5S methodology; identify and report potential improvements related to the position; participate in the autonomous basic maintenance team. * Carry out assigned tasks according to the Shift Supervisor’s instructions. * Follow the company’s technical instructions. * Cleaning and hygiene: Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties at the workstation; properly segregate waste generated at the workstation. Optimize use of resources allocated to the position. * Must comply with critical control points within the area. * Respect Food Defense requirements within the section. **POSITION PROFILE** Education:* Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) / Baccalaureate / Medium or Higher Vocational Training Cycle. * Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role.
