PHARMACY TECHNICIAN / ASSISTANT

Description

A pharmacy technician/assistant is required to support the core tasks of a pharmacy service, in accordance with the Institution’s guidelines. Dispensing: Dispensing of medications and healthcare products, following the internal regulations of the pharmacy service, with the ability to resolve incidents and report them to the responsible pharmacist. Maintain an overall and coordinated view of all medications and products being dispensed. Warehousing: Organize receipt, storage, and restocking of medications and healthcare products, verifying stock levels and ensuring proper conservation according to established criteria. Pharmaceutics: Repackaging of medications into unit doses, following department-established procedures. Preparation of necessary magistral formulations. Transportation: Transport of medications and healthcare products to various hospital departments according to established procedures * Minimum 2 years’ experience. \- Ability to interpret and understand technical-scientific information and symbolic language associated with various processes. \- Comprehensive and integrated knowledge of the healthcare system across organizational, functional, social, and administrative dimensions. * MIDDLE-GRADE VOCATIONAL TRAINING QUALIFICATION (FP) * Catalan (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Spanish (spoken: intermediate, written: intermediate) * Competencies / knowledge: \- Organizational ability \- Teamwork \- Motivation for tasks related to the position \- Support for colleagues’ professional development \- Adaptability to new work situations arising * Temporary employment contract (1 month) * Full-time working hours * Additional relevant information: Vacation coverage for September 1st and September 5th–10th
