This position can be 100% remote from Spain, although we have offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Zaragoza, and Valencia—making a hybrid arrangement also possible. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical expert and advisor to prospective clients, helping them understand how Google Cloud’s data solutions can transform their business. You will combine deep technical knowledge with exceptional communication skills to drive presales success and support our sales team in closing complex deals. * Conduct thorough technical assessments and analyze client requirements to design customized Google Cloud data solutions * Deliver compelling presales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical workshops for prospective clients and stakeholders * Develop proof-of-concepts, technical proposals, and solution architectures addressing clients’ specific business challenges * Collaborate closely with sales teams to identify opportunities, qualify prospects, and support the full sales cycle * Provide specialized technical guidance on Google Cloud data platforms—including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and related services * Resolve technical issues and deliver solutions during presales interactions and proof-of-concept phases * Stay current with Google Cloud product updates, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to maintain technical expertise * Engage with technical decision-makers and senior executives to communicate the value and capabilities of Google Cloud solutions * Contribute to deal closure by addressing technical concerns and demonstrating clear return on investment * Minimum 3 years of experience in presales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting roles * Strong technical knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data and analytics services * Proven experience in data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and business intelligence solutions * Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts * Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach * Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams—including sales, product, and customer success * Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to a dynamic environment * Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken **Preferred Qualifications:** * Google Cloud certifications, such as Professional Data Engineer or Associate Cloud Engineer * Programming experience with Python, Java, or similar languages * Knowledge of Google Cloud machine learning and artificial intelligence services * Experience with enterprise data architecture patterns and best practices * Experience in technical customer-facing or account management roles * Familiarity with data governance, security, and regulatory compliance considerations in cloud environments
