Training in food handling and food safety As part of the store team and reporting to the Fish Market Manager, your responsibilities will include: * Perform daily receipt of goods (fish), ensuring quality and freshness upon entry. * Handle, clean, and cut fish, guaranteeing freshness and quality standards. * Set up the fish counter to ensure all varieties are accessible. * Recommend, advise, and inform customers about product characteristics to deliver an excellent shopping experience. * Clean, organize, and supervise fish-handling tools and equipment, as well as maintain facilities (cold rooms and sinks). * Collaborate with the Fish Market Manager in supervising tasks and managing the fishmonger team. * Monitor existing stock, supporting the Fish Market Manager in conducting inventories and placing orders. Desired Skills and Knowledge: We would love to meet you if you are passionate about commerce, fresh products, and people, and if you have: \- At least 1 year of prior experience as a fishmonger or fishmonger assistant. \- Training in food handling/food safety. \- Knowledge of fish species and types of cuts. \- Basic proficiency in office software.
