




**Ingeteam**, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join the R&D team of the Automation Devices (AD) Business Unit in Zamudio, Bizkaia. **Mission:** Be responsible for the development and implementation of embedded software for control and monitoring systems. **Responsibilities** * Develop and program embedded applications for control and monitoring, including communication interfaces, fieldbus management, inputs/outputs, and digital signal processing. * Execute tests and validations of developed embedded software to ensure its proper operation and quality. * Collaborate in certification and homologation processes of embedded systems. * Create and maintain technical documentation related to software and development processes. * Proactively detect, analyze, and resolve incidents within the embedded software area. **Requirements** * Degree or Master's in Engineering with specialization in Electronics, Telecommunications, Embedded Systems, or similar. * Experience in firmware development for microcontrollers and microprocessors (ARM, x86, RISCV) in real-time applications (C/C\+\+, asm…) * Experience with operating systems for embedded systems (Linux, WinCE,…). * Industrial communications (Ethernet, CAN, RS485, TCN, TRDP…) * Digital signal processing, with experience in Matlab/Simulink being valued. * Knowledge of cybersecurity applied to embedded systems. **Desirable** * Previous experience in designing and developing high-tech products within product development departments. * Experience in functional safety projects (EN 5012x, EN 50716, EN 61508\) * Experience in developing embedded systems for the railway sector. * Proactive attitude, dynamism, and ability to work in a team with a high level of commitment and involvement in the developments carried out. **We offer** * Joining an innovative organization, a leader in Power Electrical Systems Automation, contributing to the energy model transition, impacting triple sustainability (social, environmental, and economic). * International working environment. * Gaining experience by performing dynamic tasks. * Flexible working hours and other work-life balance facilities. * Compensation aligned with the candidate's experience.
