Position Summary:
We are seeking a direct care educator to accompany children, girls, and adolescents, implementing their individualized educational plans and providing emotional support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accompany and support the educational and emotional development of minors.
2. Serve as an affective reference point, promoting security and autonomy.
3. Promote the integration and personal development of minors.
We seek a direct care educator to work in Orkoien, with full-time hours and rotating shifts between weekdays and weekends. Main duties include accompanying children, girls, and adolescents in developing their individualized educational plans, collaborating with other professional team members. Daily intervention information is recorded in a follow-up journal, and relevant data are shared during shift changes.
It is essential to care for and protect minors both inside and outside the center, identify their material and emotional needs, and activate appropriate responses. The candidate must serve as an affective reference point, offering an emotionally safe space where the child, girl, or adolescent feels validated and unconditionally loved. Additionally, they act as a role model for integrative behavioral patterns and social roles, promoting personal and social autonomy.
In the case of foreign minors, key objectives include language acquisition, administrative regularization, sociocommunity integration, and sociolaboral promotion. Testifying in judicial proceedings may also be required if mandated by the Court, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, or the Public Entity. Any other functions necessary within the program’s intervention will be assumed according to professional competence.

**Education:**
University degree in Social Education or Social Work.
