**Description:** ---------------- Are you passionate about logistics and operational efficiency? ACTECO is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for its Ibi (Alicante) branch, with technical vision, hands-on leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset to manage a fleet of 10 owned trucks and several subcontracted transport providers. **Mission** Your mission will be to ensure efficiency, service quality, and cost control by applying technical criteria and operational discipline within a highly professionalized industrial and environmental context. In addition, you will participate in route planning, fleet tracking, maintenance oversight, customer incident management, and daily operational direction. Therefore, we are looking for a candidate capable of performing the following functions: **Functions** * **Route Management:** Prepare routes for assigned trucks; consolidate orders into optimized routes; conduct daily tracking and supervision of routes using the designated tool—monitoring timing, losses, allowances, scheduled hours, and incidents. Respond to driver calls regarding urgent matters and escalate to the Plant Delegate for decision-making. Carry out weekly planning. Daily supervision of work order compliance. * **Vehicle Management:** Supervise the preventive maintenance schedule for each vehicle (e.g., MOT, cleaning, tires, etc.) and maintain updated records in the internal repository. Verify validity of documentation for owned vehicles (insurance policies, corresponding receipts, MOT certificates). Notify the relevant department upon expiry. Arrange vehicle entries at approved external workshops. Monitor repair execution timelines. Track truck consumption (kilometers and diesel fuel). * **Subcontractor Management:** Place purchase orders for subcontracted transport services and validate invoices against permitted amounts per procedure. Provide subcontracted carriers with instructions on legal requirements applicable to waste transportation (e.g., vehicle documentation, MOT, ADR certification, etc.). * **Personnel Management:** Supervise work reports, correct erroneous time recordings, and verify adherence to stipulated working hours; report anomalies daily to the Plant Delegate. Draft the annual vacation schedule proposal for drivers. Communicate staffing needs (e.g., sick leave, replacements, etc.) to the Plant Delegate. Supervise the training period for new hires and evaluate them according to agreed timelines. Download tachograph data and monitor rest periods. If you enjoy optimizing processes and leading teams with technical rigor, this is your project. **Requirements:** --------------- * Required experience in route and team management: ideally 3–5 years; minimum 1 year. * Secondary vocational qualification or higher education degree. * Logistics-related training is valued. * Proficiency in computer programs (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, etc.) is required. * Knowledge of transport-related legislation (tachograph, CPC, ADR) and mechanical fundamentals (a knowledge test will be conducted as part of the selection process).
