Backend Developer We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to join a project in the insurance sector, working on the design, development, and evolution of solutions based on microservice architectures. We seek a candidate with solid experience in Java and Spring Boot, accustomed to working with distributed architectures, REST APIs, event-driven systems, and technologies such as Kafka and MongoDB. **Responsibilities:** Design and develop technical solutions and alternative architectural approaches. Analyze solution feasibility and provide effort estimates. Participate in requirement analysis and definition. Implement user stories using Jira. Develop technical designs and concepts for various scenarios. Develop and maintain services and microservices. Implement REST APIs and event-based integrations. Write unit tests and ensure code quality. Produce technical documentation for implemented solutions. Collaborate within Agile / Scrum teams. Work autonomously, delivering pragmatic, business-oriented solutions. Collaborate with other technical and functional teams. Mandatory Requirements 6\+ years of software development experience. 5\+ years of experience with Java 8 or later. Solid experience with Spring Boot. Experience in developing microservice architectures. Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures. Experience with MongoDB. Experience developing REST APIs. Experience with JUnit and automated testing. Experience with Git. Experience working with Agile / Scrum methodologies. Ability to analyze problems, propose alternatives, and make technical decisions. Autonomy, initiative, and ability to work in environments with some degree of ambiguity. English level B2 or higher. Proactive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
