Job Summary: We are seeking an Alignment Engineer for road and railway infrastructure projects, with responsibilities in design, technical proposal management, and project execution. Participation in highly significant infrastructure projects We are looking for an Alignment Engineer – Madrid Location: Madrid, Spain Salary: €40,000 gross/year Working Hours: 09:00 – 18:00 Minimum Education: Civil Engineering Minimum Required Experience: 2 years We are seeking an Alignment Engineer to join a high-level technical project, participating both in tender phases and construction projects related to road and railway infrastructures. Key Responsibilities: Design and review of alignments* Design and review of alignment solutions using Istram and OpenRoads * Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation * Optimization of alignments and earthworks Technical direction during tender preparation* Review of tender documents and client technical specifications * Application of regulations and critical analysis of reference solutions * Identification of risks and definition of mitigation measures * Anticipation of construction processes and pursuit of technical optimizations Technical management and coordination* Coordination and review of work performed by subcontracted design teams * Technical direction during construction-phase D\&B projects * Review of measurements and design packages * Participation in internal meetings with Construction and Estimation departments * Liaison with clients and external engineering firms ✅ Requirements:* Degree in Civil Engineering (Highways, Canals and Ports), Public Works Engineering, or Civil Engineering * Experience in highway and/or railway projects * Advanced proficiency in Istram * Knowledge of OpenRoads (desirable) * Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles * Native-level Spanish required We seek candidates with:* Commitment and results orientation * Teamwork capability * Proactivity in project management * Analytical ability and technical judgment to question and improve designs Offered: * Participation in highly significant infrastructure projects * Specialized and collaborative technical environment Location
