Teamwork and development of culinary skills DESCRIPTION **Kitchen Assistant/Cook \- Activando ‍** ================================================ **Activando** is looking to incorporate a **Kitchen Assistant/Cook** into its team who is eager to join a dynamic and professional environment. If you are passionate about cooking and meet the requirements, this opportunity is for you! **Location:** Alicante City Center. **Contract Type:** Temporary with potential for permanent contract. **Working Hours:** 20 hours per week (extendable). **Responsibilities and Tasks:** You will be a key member of our kitchen team, supporting various stations and ensuring quality and efficiency in preparing our dishes. We seek someone comfortable working across the following areas: * **Hot kitchen:** Operating stoves, fryers, and ovens, ensuring proper cooking and presentation of food. * **Preparation and Mise en place:** Organizing and preparing ingredients before and during service. * **Cleaning and Organization:** Maintaining an immaculate and orderly workspace, complying with hygiene and food safety regulations. * **Collaboration:** Coordinating effectively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff. **Requirements:** * **Experience:** Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience in similar roles. * **Skills:** Ability to work across multiple stations, especially in the hot kitchen. * **Attitude:** A **responsible**, **committed**, and **clean** individual in the workplace. * **Organization:** Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently. * **Availability:** Immediate availability and willingness to work according to the indicated schedule. **Schedule:** Initial contract runs until June 30, with 20 weekly working hours distributed as follows: * **Tuesday:** 10:00 \- 14:00 * **Friday:** 13:00 \- 17:00 and 20:00 \- 00:00 * **Saturday:** 13:00 \- 17:00 and 20:00 \- 00:00 **Why Join Activando?** At **Activando**, we value our team’s talent and dedication.
