Responsibility and trustworthiness in assigned tasks. **JOB OBJECTIVE** Maintain optimal cleanliness, hygiene, and order of assigned facilities (homes, offices, commercial spaces), ensuring a healthy, safe, and pleasant environment for occupants or customers. **MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * **Surface and floor cleaning:** Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing all types of floors (ceramic, wood, marble, carpets). * **Dusting:** Removing dust from furniture, shelves, desks, computer equipment (handled with care), lamps, pictures, moldings, and baseboards. * **Toilets and bathrooms:** Thorough cleaning and disinfection of toilets, sinks, showers, shower screens, mirrors, and faucets. Restocking consumables (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, air freshener). * **Kitchen / Dining area (if applicable):** Cleaning countertops, sinks, appliances (microwave, refrigerator, oven exterior), kitchen furniture, and tiles. Washing and drying utensils and tableware if required. * **Glass and mirrors:** Cleaning accessible windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to leave them streak-free and spotless. * **Waste management:** Emptying wastebaskets and trash bins, sorting waste for recycling, and disposing of garbage in designated containers. * **Equipment maintenance:** Proper care and cleaning of work equipment and tools (vacuum cleaner, mops, buckets, etc.). Reporting to supervisor when cleaning supplies need replenishment or tools require repair. * **Rooms (hospitality/healthcare):** Cleaning and tidying rooms, changing and restocking bed linens and towels according to established protocols. * **Incident reporting:** Identifying and reporting any anomalies, malfunctions, or damages observed in the facilities (leaks, burnt-out lights, breakages). **JOB REQUIREMENTS** * **Prior experience:** Minimum of 6 months–1 year in similar positions (valued but not always mandatory; attitude is highly regarded). * **Knowledge:** Familiarity with cleaning products and tools; basic knowledge of cleaning techniques appropriate for different surfaces. * **Availability:** As required by service needs (split shifts, continuous shifts, weekends, rotating shifts). * **Documentation:** Valid work permit (if applicable). **DESIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS** * **Proactivity and autonomy:** Ability to organize work and perform tasks without constant supervision. * **Attention to detail:** Meticulousness to ensure spaces are immaculate and no corners are overlooked. * **Responsibility and trustworthiness:** Especially important when working in private homes or handling sensitive information. * **Punctuality and professionalism:** Commitment to scheduled hours and assigned tasks. * **Hygiene and neatness:** Personal grooming and proper use of protective equipment (gloves, masks, etc.). * **Physical capability:** Good physical condition to stand, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday. * **Honesty:** A fundamental quality when working in public or private spaces.
