Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer Java and Microservices to design, develop, and maintain microservices, collaborate within agile teams, and resolve complex incidents. We are looking for: **Senior Backend Developer Java and Microservices** **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain Java backend microservices, ensuring quality, performance, and resilience. * Implement and optimize automation and job orchestration workflows using Automic Automation or an equivalent scheduler. * Collaborate with agile and Operations/DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and support production services. * Participate in technical reviews, coding standard definitions, and automated testing practices. * Investigate and resolve complex incidents, proposing continuous improvements focused on availability and scalability. * Document technical solutions and clearly communicate progress to technical and business stakeholders. **Requirements:** **Mandatory:** * Several years of experience as a Java backend developer (Java 8\+ or higher), with a focus on microservices. * Practical experience with Automic Automation (UC4\) or equivalent job scheduling systems as a workflow developer. * Solid knowledge of Unix and shell scripting. * Understanding and experience in IT Operations and its processes. * Availability to work weekends and holidays when required. * Demonstrated ability to assume end\-to\-end responsibility and quickly adapt to changing environments. * Advanced English proficiency. * Onsite presence required 3 days/week at the client’s offices in Madrid Centro. * University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is desirable. **Desirable:** * Experience in DevOps environments (CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code). * Knowledge of web application architecture and cloud technologies. * Experience in banking, especially in Client Lifecycle Management. * Personal competencies: analytical thinking, solution orientation, teamwork, resilience, and commitment to quality. **We Offer** * Permanent contract with competitive salary * Flexible working arrangements and possibility of remote work. * Personalized career plan and continuous training (certifications, English, etc.). * Participation in stable projects with strong technical components. * Flexible working hours and focus on work-life balance. * Social benefits tailored to your needs.
