**Join our Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Systems team!**
As part of our positioning as a leading defense company, we aim to reinforce our team with an **Embedded Software Engineer** to join a **strategic weapons and UAV systems project**, contributing to the development of critical software for the **Tarsis** unmanned aerial platforms under aviation regulations.
**What will you do?**
You will join the engineering team responsible for UAV onboard software, participating in the entire development lifecycle in compliance with aviation regulations.
* Development of **embedded C software** for UAV **autopilot systems and/or Ground Control Stations (GCS)**.
* Integration of software into **Xilinx SoCs (Zynq / MPSoC)** and **FPGA-based platforms**.
* Development, adaptation, and maintenance of **BSPs (Board Support Packages)**.
* Implementation and debugging of **device drivers and low-level software**.
* Configuration and management of **communication buses** (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, etc.).
* Hardware–software integration and execution of **tests on real equipment**.
* Participation in **verification and validation activities compliant with DO\-178C**.
* Preparation of **technical documentation and lifecycle evidence** under aviation regulations and **PECAL 2210**.
* Development management using **Atlassian suite tools** (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).

✅ Experience in **embedded C software development**.
✅ Experience in **embedded systems for safety-critical environments** (aviation, defense, automotive, rail, etc.).
✅ Knowledge of **hardware–software integration**.
✅ Experience with **Xilinx SoCs (Zynq / MPSoC)** and/or FPGA platforms.
✅ Knowledge of **industrial and embedded communication buses** (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet).
✅ Experience or knowledge of development processes compliant with **DO\-178C**.
✅ Ability to work with **technical documentation and regulated processes**.
✅ Availability to work in **Sevilla** under a **hybrid model (40% remote work annually)**.
