It is renowned for its multiple entrances that generate air currents and for its entertaining route featuring galleries and narrow passages—ideal for a first underground experience near Madrid. The cave can be visited with a specialized guide, and this multi-adventure includes guided tours, equipment, and additional activities such as climbing or rappelling in the area—making it a fun and accessible family outing. This time, we’ll explore it up close by trying these techniques in a simple, beginner-friendly way. Rappelling height is modest (approx. 8 m), and climbing takes place on a nearby sector with two easy routes rated IV and IV+.
