Self-Propelled Crane Operator

Description

The position involves operating self-propelled or truck-mounted cranes to safely and efficiently handle loads across various facilities and construction sites. Key responsibilities include performing loading, unloading, and precise positioning of materials and heavy machinery, ensuring all operations comply with the highest safety and technical precision standards. The operator is responsible for conducting routine visual inspections of the equipment, as well as carrying out basic preventive maintenance on the crane to ensure its proper functioning and extend its service life, reporting any anomalies detected. Strict adherence to current occupational health and safety regulations—both on construction sites and in plant environments—is essential; established protective measures must always be implemented, and a proactive safety culture must be fostered among the team. This role demands exceptional concentration and manual dexterity to maneuver the crane in confined or complex spaces, optimizing execution time without compromising the safety of personnel, materials, or facilities. The position operates within a dynamic environment where coordination with other team professionals—such as signalmen or site supervisors—is critical to operational success. A positive, rigorous, and collaborative attitude—oriented toward continuous improvement of logistical and load-handling processes—is highly valued. The company offers direct employment with an indefinite-term contract from the start of the employment relationship. The annual gross remuneration amounts to 27\.000 euros, adjusted according to the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Working hours are Monday through Friday, in a continuous shift from 8:00 to 17:00, including one hour for lunch, thereby supporting a suitable work–life balance. Candidates must hold a valid Class C driving license, a valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CAP), and a valid tachograph. It is equally mandatory to possess a valid and up-to-date Type A Self-Propelled Crane Operator License. The ideal candidate must demonstrate at least two years of verifiable operational experience handling self-propelled cranes or truck-mounted cranes in industrial or construction environments.
