We are offering a **Reception Assistant** position for our upcoming opening of the **Amàre Sancti Petri hotel in Chiclana de la Frontera, Cádiz**. You will be responsible for front desk operations and guest service during their overnight stay, as well as delivering the best possible guest experience within the scope of your role.

**Your typical day will sound like this…**
Support and supervision: Ensure achievement of departmental objectives, compliance with critical processes and operational rollouts in the area, according to hotel-established standards. Monitor achievement of departmental guest data capture targets. Receive, resolve, and redirect—where applicable—guest feedback and complaints, aiming to preserve and achieve desired guest satisfaction levels. Record incidents in Polaris. Handle and redirect information regarding reservations made outside the operating hours of Contact Center and Groups departments. Assist with administrative tasks at reception and file management. Supervise and control hotel parking operations, reconcile and settle the parking cashier, and address any related incidents. Monitor Operational Ambience.
Execution and follow-up: Assign rooms according to criteria for optimizing room distribution and guests’ preferences, where feasible. Answer the reception telephone and manage wake-up calls, messaging, and mail services. Carry out foreign currency exchange and perform daily reconciliation of the reception cash drawer. Process billing for all hotel services and consumables provided to guests, and manage charge rejections (cancellations). Handle guest authorizations under GDPR requirements. Record and archive room charge vouchers, and reconcile point-of-sale revenue collections. Manage guest requests received prior to arrival via e-mail, Booking.com, Expedia, etc. Safeguard guest belongings deposited at the hotel reception.
Control and quality: Monitor arrival and departure lists, paying special attention to potential incidents or special needs (VIP guests, reduced mobility, children, etc.). Perform guest check-in and check-out. Comply with organizational standards on quality, safety and health, environmental protection, and data protection.
Strategic participation: Collaborate with other departments to deliver the best guest experience. Actively participate in selling various hotel products and services (upselling, cross-selling, and ancillaries), and serve as a reference point to provide visitors with additional relevant information—such as city recommendations tailored to their preferences, transportation services, shows, excursions, and more.

**You are ideal for this position if…**
Bachelor’s degree in Tourism / Vocational Training Level I / Level II and/or Medium/Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Accommodation / Accommodation Management / Hospitality and Tourism, or equivalent.
Minimum six months’ experience in similar positions at 4-star or higher hotels is desirable.
English: B2 level. German: B1 level.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
