**KENA BY AKIRO** is a Nikkei (Japanese-Peruvian fusion) cuisine restaurant located on the Rooftop of Hotel El Fuerte, offering the best views of Marbella. We deliver a high-level culinary experience in a distinctive space with privileged views, taking our guests on a gastronomic journey through Nikkei fusion.
A Nikkei restaurant and terrace in Marbella where gastronomy, cocktails, and ambiance merge into a single experience. We are looking for a **Barback**, passionate about hospitality and eager to join a strong team from its opening. You will be responsible for beverage service and sales, ensuring professional, high-quality service and customer satisfaction in accordance with established protocols and standards.

**Your day-to-day will sound like this…**
* Perform customer service duties at various bars according to the protocols established for each.
* Ensure achievement of departmental objectives, as well as compliance with critical processes and area staging, in line with hotel-established standards.
* Support the bartender team in preparing and serving beverages.
* Carry out mise en place at bar stations prior to service.
* Maintain order, cleanliness, and restocking of materials at the bar.
* Manage collection and cleaning of glassware and bar utensils.
* Restock ice, fruits, syrups, and other supplies during service.
* Collaborate with the Bar Manager on stock control and replenishment.
* Execute bar opening and closing checklists.
**Requirements:**

**You’re ideal for this position if…**
Vocational Training Degree / Higher Education in Restaurant Services / Restaurant Management and/or similar. Knowledge of mixology.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in this role within high-end or Michelin-recognized restaurants.
English, B2 level. Other languages are valued.
Office suite proficiency.
