We’re looking for a **Senior Manual QA Engineer** to strengthen the quality across our products, the next generation of **Enterprise platform for Zero Trust** **Private Access** — including testing and QA processes of core components: **back\-end APIs**, **client applications** (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS), and **infrastructure components**. This is a technical role requiring strong familiarity with networking, APIs, and secure applications. As a key member of the Quality Assurance team**,** you’ll shape our **engineering practices** and **system resilience**. Your decisions will influence both product direction and company growth. **Our philosophy is that we are a small, close\-knit team, and we care deeply about you:** * Competitive pay rates * Fully remote work environments * Self\-managed time off **Important:** * This is a full\-time remote job, and it will be **a long\-term** **B2B contract.** * On our website in JD, you can see the locations for this role **Your contribution will include:** * Develop and maintain comprehensive **test plans**, including functional, UI, regression, integration, and exploratory testing * Design manual test suites for **backend APIs**, **desktop/mobile apps**, and **system\-level features** (e.g., VPN connectivity, auth flows) * Collaborate with engineers to embed testing early in the development cycle (shift\-left mindset) * Participate and contribute in Agile ceremonies and in the release process * Investigate, reproduce, and document defects across services and platforms * Work with DevOps and Software Development to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines * Achieve quality metrics, coverage goals, and release readiness criteria. **You’ll be a great fit if you have the following:** * At least 5 years of experience in the **Quality Assurance** domain * Excellent knowledge of **networking fundamentals** (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, etc.) * Strong understanding of **REST** **API** (Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, etc.) and **data integrity** testing * Experience with **cross\-platform mobile and desktop apps** (hybrid or native) * Experience working with **Linux systems** and the **CLI** * Flawless knowledge of QA processes and documentation (test plans, test designs, test cases, and test scenarios) * **AI tools or use AI in testing activities** * Excellent debugging, analytical, and communication skills * At least an upper\-intermediate English level, both written and spoken. **Bonus points for:** * Familiarity with **automated test frameworks** and ability to write **automation scripts** (preferably Playwright \+ TS) * **Experience working in Git\-based workflows and integrating tests in CI/CD pipelines** * Exposure to **performance/load testing** (JMeter, iperf, etc.) * Understanding of **compliance** and/or **security testing** (OWASP testing, etc.) * Computer Science or a related university background.
