At Isagri, we are developing various software products to help farmers, breeders, and wineries manage and improve their operations. Our vision is to make agriculture, livestock farming, and winemaking more efficient, profitable, and sustainable through data-driven farming. Your role will focus on developing Bacosoft products: \* Bacosoft is a solution for wineries, designed to centralize cellar management in one place. It helps users manage traceability, stock control, declarations, and official record books—tracking each liter from its arrival at the winery to its sale. Bacosoft also handles orders, delivery notes, and invoices while ensuring compliance with Spain’s Veri\*factu regulation. In our development team, we have worked fully remotely since 2014 and advocate for well-executed remote work—which differs significantly from the rushed, pandemic-driven remote work adopted by most companies. For us, doing it well means using the right communication tools, ensuring all collaboration happens online, fostering human proximity despite physical distance (e.g., via various online social activities during working hours), etc. We are so passionate about this approach that team members even delivered a talk (in Spanish) about it some time ago—the video appears at the top of this page. We are seeking new team members who can contribute across the full stack. The main focus will be on backend development, but you’ll also have opportunities to develop frontend, mobile apps, or infrastructure when required. **How we work:** We are 18 people in the engineering team including development, design/UX, QA, and product * \* We run flexible 2-week sprints. * \* We deploy code to production multiple times per day. * \* We love pair programming and TDD. * \* We conduct peer code reviews. * \* Our backends use Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Celery, Elixir, and Phoenix. * \* Our frontends use Ember / React (web app), Next.js, React Native (mobile app), and SQLite. * \* Our infrastructure uses Docker, Kubernetes, Heroku, and GitHub Actions. * **Requirements:** --------------- **Minimum requirements** **What you bring:** * Experience (>5 years) in backend development with a major framework (Django, Ruby on Rails, Phoenix, etc.) * Experience (>3 years) in frontend development with a component-oriented JavaScript framework. * Collaborative mindset: a humble team player who enjoys learning and teaching. * Practical, solution-oriented mindset. * Fluent in Spanish and proficient in written English. * Passion for pair programming. * Cannot live without testing—ideally Test-Driven Development (TDD). * Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity, debugging, and code quality. **Even better if you bring (++):** * Python experience * Elixir experience * Any experience with a functional programming language * Any experience building and maintaining microservices/distributed systems * Experience building REST APIs * Solid knowledge of design patterns, clean/hexagonal architecture, and functional programming **What we offer:** * True full-remote work within a consolidated distributed team (located across different regions of Spain) * Highly flexible calendar and schedule. * Agile working environment. * €45,000 gross per year, with potential adjustment based on experience. * Annual salary review. * €500/year training budget: courses, conferences, books, etc. * Permanent employment contract under Spanish labor law. * A positive work environment within a highly innovative and dynamic company. * Two in-person team events per year—e.g., farm/winery visits, escape rooms, or other leisure and team-building activities. **Additional benefits** * Christmas gift basket and loyalty rewards * Employee referral program with bonus * Access to a professional network of psychologists for emotional support, if needed. * Optional private health insurance through our agreement with a private clinic, starting from €60/month, conveniently deducted from payroll.
