At Kairós, you’ll find projects enabling remote work — without losing closeness with the rest of the team! **What Are We Looking For?** **At Kairós**, we seek a **QA Automation** professional with experience in banking environments to ensure the quality of critical business applications and processes. The selected candidate will participate in designing, executing, and maintaining functional and automated tests, collaborating with development, product, and business teams to guarantee stable, secure deliveries aligned with requirements — while also defining test strategies and plans for both manual and automated testing. The candidate will join our Tech discipline, led by **Carlos Cañado and Reinaldo Aguilera.** **Requirements:** * Prior experience as a Manual and/or Automation QA, ideally in banking or financial projects. * Solid knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and end\-to\-end testing. * Experience with test management and tracking tools such as Jira, Xray, Zephyr, ALM, or similar. * Automation expertise using Selenium and/or frameworks such as Cypress or equivalents. * Proficiency in SQL and data validation in databases. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. * Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with technical and functional teams. * Experience with API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools. **Desirable Requirements** * Familiarity with Gherkin, Cucumber, JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Git, and CI/CD. * Experience testing web applications and banking digital channels. **Valuable Attributes** * Quality-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. * Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively. * Analytical mindset and problem-solving focus. * Organizational skills, rigorous documentation practices, and effective priority management. * Adaptability in dynamic, high-stakes environments. **Responsibilities** * Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, integration, and exploratory tests. * Define test cases, test plans, and test scripts according to functional requirements. * Identify, document, prioritize, and track incidents to resolution. * Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects. * Participate in identifying automation-candidate scenarios. * Develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts for web and APIs. * Validate data via SQL queries and support backend verification. * Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams in ceremonies, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement.
