The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks while ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications, APIs, and enterprise systems. This role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, automation tools, Agile practices, and close collaboration with cross\-functional teams. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for frontend, backend, and API testing. * Perform manual and exploratory testing to validate business requirements and application functionality. * Develop and maintain automation frameworks using **Selenium**, **Playwright**, and **Karate**. * Create, execute, and monitor API tests using **Postman** and SOAP\-based testing tools. * Perform performance and load testing using **JMeter**. * Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC. * Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand\-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions. * Analyze test results, identify defects, and support troubleshooting activities. * Execute SQL queries for data validation and testing purposes. * Maintain test documentation, test cases, and defect reports using **JIRA** and **Confluence**. * Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and automation coverage. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Proven experience as a **QA Automation Engineer / SDET**. * Strong knowledge of **Agile methodologies** (Scrum and Kanban). * Experience with **JIRA**, **Confluence**, and **Microsoft Teams**. * Hands\-on experience with testing tools such as: * + **Postman** + **SOAP testing tools** + **JMeter** * Strong functional analysis and testing capabilities. * Experience with **manual and exploratory testing**. * Knowledge of **relational databases** and **SQL**. * Knowledge of **Java**. * Experience with: * + **Selenium** + **Playwright** (Frontend Automation) + **Karate** (Backend/API Automation) * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to work in a fast\-paced Agile environment. **Nice to Have:** * Experience with AI\-assisted development and testing tools such as **Devin** and **Windsurf**. * Experience working in enterprise\-scale environments. * Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern quality engineering practices. * Performance testing optimization experience. **What can we offer?** * 23 days of Annual Leave plus the 24th and 31st of December as discretionary days! * Numerous benefits (Health Care Plan, Internet Connectivity, Life and Accident Insurances). * Flexible Compensation Program (Meals, Kindergarten, Transport, Online English Lessons, Health Care Plan and more). * Free access to several training platforms. * Professional stability and career development plans. * Referral Program with attractive rewards. * The option to choose between 12 or 14 salary payments per year. * Real Work\-Life Balance measures (flexibility, WFH or remote work policy, summer hours, and more). * Access to UST Club discounts and special gym membership rates. **If you would like to know more, do not hesitate to apply and we’ll get in touch to provide further details.
