**Description:** ---------------- We are seeking a **Mechanical Design Engineer** for an important manufacturer of transportation components, located in **Pamplona.** **Your main responsibilities will be:** * Design, calculate and develop technical drawings of products from the standpoint of standardization, cost optimization in manufacturing and ensuring maximum quality. * Shape the mechanical design of products by translating global project specifications into tangible designs. * Product management within available systems and tools. * Provide technical support to different departments within the company, particularly on quality-related matters. * Coordinate and collaborate with international teams to develop various designs globally. * Coordinate, plan and supervise assigned projects and activities. **What we offer:** * Permanent employment contract. * Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 16:45 and Friday from 8:00 to 15:00, with flexible start times. Reduced working hours during summer. * Remote work: One day per week. * Company-subsidized cafeteria (60% subsidy). **Requirements:** --------------- **What we are looking for:** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Mandatory minimum of 3 years' experience in designing metal or steel components for automotive or transportation sectors, within international environments. * Extensive experience using design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or Windchill. * Very high level of English (daily interaction with other European offices). * German language proficiency at an advanced level is desirable. * Experience working with composite materials is a plus. * + Desired competencies: attention to detail, analytical skills, reasoning ability, and teamwork.
