Job Summary: We are seeking a Linux Systems Administrator Level N1 for Infortec, responsible for Linux systems administration, virtualization environments management, and incident handling. Key Responsibilities: 1. Linux system administration (Red Hat, Oracle Linux) 2. Virtualization environment administration (VMware ESXi, vCenter, Oracle VM) 3. Shell (Bash) script development and maintenance **Description:** ---------------- At **Infortec**, we are looking for a **Linux Systems Administrator Level N1 (Night Shift).** **The selected candidate will be responsible for:** * Linux system administration (Red Hat, Oracle Linux): installation, configuration, and maintenance. * Virtualization environment administration: VMware ESXi vCenter, vRealize Automation (VRA), and Site Recovery Manager (SRM) Oracle VM * Incident, request, and change management (PAPs), and creation of operational manuals. * System performance analysis, tuning, and optimization. * User, process, disk, network, and service administration in Linux/Unix systems. * Patch application, updates, and participation in migrations. * Shell (Bash) script development and maintenance. * Storage administration: LVM, NFS, RAID, HBAs, SAN, and multipath. * Creation, management, and migration of Linux virtual machines, snapshots, and associated operations. **Experience**: * Prior experience in Linux/Unix system administration will be valued. **Essential Knowledge:** * Solid foundational knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration. * Basic networking knowledge. **Desirable Knowledge:** * VMware vSphere and virtualization technologies. * Storage management. * Scripting (Bash / Shell). * Technical English reading ability. **Position Conditions** * Permanent contract with Infortec Consultores * Location: Condesa de Venadito (Madrid) * Work modality: 50% on-site / 50% remote (after training) * Training period: minimum 3 months, 100% on-site * Shift: Night shift (exclusive) * Schedule: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM (8 hours) * On-call duties: Yes, once the required proficiency level is achieved * Overtime: Yes, for scheduled interventions * Methodology: Agile \+ ITIL If you are interested, apply for this vacancy—we look forward to hearing from you!
