Key responsibilities include reporting, automation, data control, and coordination with other teams to ensure capital efficiency and alignment with strategic objectives. **About the job:** **What are we looking for?** -------------------------- We seek a dynamic individual passionate about data and possessing the following skills: * 1–4 years of experience, with at least 1 year focused on Data Science and solid subject-matter expertise. * Analytical and synthetic capabilities, with critical thinking. * Time management skills—efficiently managing delivery timelines and prioritizing tasks. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------- * Design and implementation of data pipelines: Develop, automate, and maintain processes to extract, transform, and load financial data, ensuring timely and accurate availability for execution teams. * Generation of advanced analytics and dashboards: Update dashboards and analytical reports to monitor key balance sheet indicators. * Ensuring data quality and consistency: Implement automated controls and validation rules in analytical processes to guarantee data reconciliation across different systems. * Optimization and automation of operational processes: Identify bottlenecks in recurring information preparation and replace manual tasks with robust, scalable, and auditable processes. **Requirements** ------------------ * Education: Specialized training in Data Science. * In-depth knowledge of Data Analytics and proficiency with programming software tools (Python, Spark, Hadoop, PySpark, …) and large-scale data analytics systems (Big Data). * High level of English (C1\). * Experience with reporting tools is desirable. * Prior experience in BBVA’s ADA environment and familiarity with BBVA’s infrastructure, processes, and data are desirable. * Familiarity with the software development lifecycle—including code repositories, branch management, versioning, and deployments—is desirable. **Skills:** Client Orientation, Critical Thinking, Empathy, Ethics, Innovation
