Within the **Underwriting Area** of MAPFRE GLOBAL RISKS, we are seeking a candidate to perform the following responsibilities: **Responsibilities** ------------- * Underwrite national and international risks, performing analysis and management of global maritime and cargo transportation risks. * Coordinate, administer, and prepare underwriting proposals, analyzing and establishing terms and/or acceptance of risks. * Develop and maintain direct communication channels with clients and brokers. * Arrange facultative reinsurance placements. * Prepare quotations and provide comprehensive client management within the sector. * Monitor performance results and track portfolio development. * Attend national and international industry events and forums. **Requirements** -------------- * Bachelor's degree or equivalent; engineering background is desirable. * **Previous experience** in a similar role, either from an underwriting perspective or technical risk analysis. * **High level of English proficiency.** * Advanced computer skills. **Competencies** ---------------- * Analytical thinking * Innovation * Teamwork * Commitment * Customer orientation * Decision-making analysis * Attention to order and quality
