Job Summary: We are seeking an Electrical or Civil Engineer with experience in the installation and supervision of electrical substation projects, leading strategic initiatives in the energy sector. Lead and manage the execution of substation projects. *Would you like to work for the leading company in the energy sector and contribute value to strategic electricity grid projects?* *Are you interested in participating in the design, development, and installation of key electrical infrastructure?* *Do you have experience in new or improvement projects related to electrical substations, including their installations, systems, and associated architectures?* *NOW IS YOUR TIME!* We have an opening for you: ***SUBSTATION INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN*** **What will you do?** * Plan, coordinate, and supervise all assigned ongoing construction projects, ensuring safety, execution quality, environmental commitment, and adherence to schedules and budgets until commissioning. * Prepare, review, and update on-site planning to meet established deadlines. * Manage construction contracts. * Issue Construction Procurement Specifications (CPC), preparing the initial schedule and work units, and produce the technical report with the award proposal when required. * Coordinate all internal organizations, electricity generation companies, clients, and contractors involved in the execution and commissioning of assigned projects. Develop the commissioning protocol and coordinate all on-site activities until asset energization. * Ensure compliance on site with technical, health and safety, and environmental regulations, supporting personnel assigned to these functions. * Lead and manage project execution, focusing specifically on execution quality and adherence to schedules and budgets. * Coordinate all elements necessary for proper project execution in terms of cost, schedule, quality, and safety. **What are we looking for?** * **Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering** * Minimum 3 years’ experience in substation construction and installation, including both new builds and refurbishments of operational facilities. **Required Knowledge and Skills** * Knowledge/experience in substation construction and applicable regulations. * Advanced knowledge of occupational health and safety, environmental management, and quality assurance. * In-depth knowledge of civil works, steel structures, busbar systems, earthing grids, cable routing, lighting and power supply, fire protection systems (PCI), and auxiliary systems, etc. * Proficiency in managing and controlling contract work units. * Strong organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively with others, and problem-solving capability. * Intermediate/advanced level of English. * Occupational Risk Prevention Training. *At Iberdrola, diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential pillars of our daily operations.
