We are currently seeking to hire a **Senior Security and Network Technician with Technical Coordination responsibilities** to join a stable, long-term project with a major client located in **Tres Cantos (Madrid)**. **What will be your mission?** ------------------------- You will join a specialized team focused on infrastructure and security, participating in project execution, change implementation, and advanced support for network and security environments. Additionally, you will assume a **technical coordination role**, tracking team activities, collaborating with various stakeholders, and contributing to ensuring the correct delivery of assigned services and projects. **Key responsibilities** ------------------------- * Execution of technical tasks derived from projects according to client requirements. * Implementation and management of changes in network and security infrastructures. * Preparation and updating of technical documentation and procedures. * Coordination and monitoring of technical service activities. * Acting as the technical point of contact with different teams and departments involved in the project. * Planning, prioritization, and monitoring of tasks to ensure adherence to deadlines and service-level agreements. * Coordination with various departments and technical teams to guarantee proper project execution. * Resolution of incidents and management of advanced-level tickets. * Technical support and mentoring for other team members in resolving complex incidents. * Preparation of activity reports and service monitoring reports. * Participation in scheduled interventions outside regular working hours when required by the service. * Monitoring and control of actions performed within managed environments. **What do we offer?** ---------------------- A stable project within an established and growing company. REQUIREMENTS **Minimum requirements** ---------------------- * Minimum of 4 **years’ experience in network and security administration and management**. * **CCNA** certification or equivalent (desirable). * Solid knowledge of **Routing & Switching**. * Experience administering and managing **firewalls and perimeter security solutions**. * Experience working with ticketing and incident management tools. * Ability to coordinate technical activities and monitor task progress. * Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with clients and multidisciplinary teams. * Knowledge or experience with technologies from the following vendors: * Cisco * Fortinet * Palo Alto Networks * Check Point * Infoblox * F5 * Aruba **Desirable requirements** ------------------------ * Prior experience coordinating technical teams or managed services. * Strong organizational, planning, and task-prioritization skills. * Proactive profile with initiative and results orientation. * Ability to work under pressure in critical environments. * Team-oriented mindset and technical leadership capability. * Experience with security solutions: * NGFW (Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortinet). * Experience in end-customer environments or managed services. **Especially valued** ----------------------------- * **CCNP** certification. * **Fortinet** certifications. * **Palo Alto Networks** certifications. * Experience serving as a technical reference or coordinator for operations teams. * Experience participating in technology transformation or evolution projects.
