We are seeking personnel for a highway surveillance position, with an indefinite-term employment contract and full-time working hours. Main duties include conducting surveillance patrols on the highway network, detecting incidents, anomalies, and damages, responding to emergencies, and assisting in accidents. Daily reports are also prepared; infrastructure elements along the roadway are inventoried; incidents are reported to the supervisor; hazards are immediately marked; and collaboration with the maintenance crew is carried out. Surveillance is continuous on assigned road sections, including holidays and weekends. Working hours follow a rotating shift schedule based on assigned quadrants, with possible night shifts from Monday to Sunday. The base salary is €1,300 per month, plus allowances for shift work and night work where applicable, as well as special holiday pay according to signed agreements. Prior experience in highway maintenance and operation, construction site signage, use of GPS devices and applications, as well as operation of a multi-purpose backhoe loader and truck, is highly valued. Training in occupational risk prevention (PRL) and licenses for light machinery or 4x4 vehicles is also considered. **Mandatory requirements are:** professional classification in surveillance; driver's license class B minimum (class C license is preferred); residence within the northern Cádiz maintenance zone, no more than 30 kilometers from the center in Algodonales; and availability to respond to incidents and emergencies with full commitment to the permanent team, including rotating shifts—especially night shifts.
